Clouded Drawings are three environments each with three components. Each site has a handmade book with one of the poems which visitors to the gallery are invited to handle and read. Adjacent to the books are wooden platforms which have pillows onto which visitors are invited to sit. Having seated themselves visitors have the opportunity to settle and look towards a assembled construction of color, light, shadow, mass, and hand-spun wool line. While seated on the cushions a visitor can contemplate the residual words and impressions of the poems and project their gaze through the spaces, transparencies, and vague floating lines of the sites. Colors, textures, spaces and edges are the language of this work.
